Day 290 of 365... Oxalis!

I really like Oxalis! I don't care what others think!

This plant has a bad reputation!  Many will say its a weed and try and try to get rid of it!
There are so many varieties, beautiful colors and leaf shapes!

Day 289 of 365... Shutter Speed!

Enjoying my Photo Class at Valley College.
Learning about and practicing with shutter speed!

Day 288 of 365... Fresh Flower Arrangements!

Photographing an arrangement is a challenge and so much fun!
... just another reason I need flowers in my house!

Day 287 of 365...Doodles!

Collecting Pens for Doodling!

Day 286 of 365...Seeing New Places!

Visited my friend Judy in her hometown of Torrance.
She gave me a tour of her very homey-home and garden and beautiful city and surrounding areas!
It's a beautiful place, I see why she loves it!

We enjoyed lunch on the water!

...and we had perfect weather!

Day 285 of 365... Growth!

This leaf is unrolling and unfolding itself...
Nature is amazing!
A little rain, a little sunshine, bright, shiny and fresh to the world!

Day 284 of 365...Our Presidents!

According to the Federal Government, the holiday observed on the 3rd Monday of the month of February is officially Washington's Birthday. But many Americans believe it is now called President's Day, in honor of both Presidents Washington and Lincoln, whose birthdays are Feb 22 and Feb 12th.

I am thankful for ALL the Past American Presidents that have given those years of their life to lead the U.S.A.!
They took on a very difficult job and their lives will be forever changed from it!
